Update:
Cyberpunk is out now, might do a review, might not.
All I can say for now is that the game would have benefited from another delay.
Original post:
You would think this to be a meme at this point, but unfortunately it is not. The long sought game Cyberpunk 2077 gets yet another delay. This time around, the game has been delayed to 10. December this year. The reason behind the delay this time around seems to be more need for optimization on next gen hardware.

It would also seem the patience is running thin for a lot of fans eagerly awaiting the game’s release, all you have to look at is the Twitter replies to the announcement tweet. Now that the game has been pushed for a 10. December release I can’t help but think if the release schedules are to be trusted any more. While it does make a lot of sense to delay a game that need more optimization, it does kill a lot of the hype for the game that CD Projekt Red keep pushing the dates – what’s even worse is that the official Twitter account gave a fan “full confirmation” the day before the delay was announced, that a fan could book the day off for the previous 19. November release schedule.
Full confirmation!

Personally I am still really excited for the game, but it is really dissapointing to see the game getting pushed further away the close we get to a release. I’d rather they held off from announcing new release dates until they’re able to confirm a date with a 200% certainty.
Maybe a 2077 release might not be that far fetched at this point.
For the fun of it, I have added a countdown to 10. December. I will go back and update this post if any further delays occur (hopefully that won’t be necessary).
Is out now
